A BRIEF-
Dr. Ameet Kishore is a graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and was awarded the medal for ENT. He obtained his higher surgical training in ENT Surgery in the UK and attained Fellowships of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh as well as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He was then appointed Consultant and Senior Lecturer at the prestigious Glasgow Royal Infirmary University Hospital, a post he held for a number of years.
He has received special training and experience in Paediatric ENT at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Yorkhill.

He has received a number of prizes for ear surgery as well as other awards and travelling fellowships. He has over 30 publications in peer reviewed journals, and book chapters and has presented widely at local, national and international conferences and meetings. His areas of interest are diseases of the ear (deafness, dizziness), nose and sinuses and paediatric ENT. He has expertise in microscopic ear surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, lateral skull base surgery, cochlear implants and implantable hearing aids and paediatric airway.
He returned to India having spent over 10 years in the UK, to join Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi as a Senior Consultant surgeon in Ear, Nose, Throat and Neurotology. He is passionate about the prevention, early detection and early intervention for hearing impairment and initiated the neonatal hearing screening programme at Apollo Hospital and in other centres. He is specially trained in hearing implantation and leads the cochlear implant programme for children and adults which has now performed more then 300 cochlear implants in the last 4 years.
